Angling Against Autism This Saturday, March 7th

Join us, won’t you? We’re SO excited about the Team Bass Fishing Tournament, Boat Raffle and Crawfish Boil Cookoff to benefit Angling Against Autism! This great event is part of the South Louisiana Family Festival and will take place on Saturday March 7th at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center. There will also be Kids Fishing, Extreme Rodeo, AG Farm, Arts & Crafts Fair, Car & Truck Show, Hot Air Balloon Rides and more!

Boat Raffle Tickets are $20 each! It’s for a 2020 Gator Trail 1848 Surface Drive Boat and Motor Package with galvanized trailer and 37DX HP with a retail value of $18,472. Winner need not be present. Winner is responsible for tax, title, registration and for picking up the boat which is located in Port Allen, LA.

The Crawfish Boil Cook Off will take place while our fisherman are out fishing and crawfish will be ready at 11 a.m. Crawfish will be sold for $20 for 4 lbs. You get to vote for your favorite, and the winner for People’s Choice and Judge’s Choice will be announced prior to the 4pm tournament weigh in.

All proceeds will support the J. Arthur Bergeron & Lana Valley Estopinal Scholarship Fund at The Emerge Center. 

Angling Against Autism is led by Angie and Moonie Bergeron, former Emerge parents and owners of Bergeron’s Boudin & Cajun Meats. This event has benefited Emerge since 2012 and has raised over $350,000 for our center. Since 2017, funds from the event have benefited the J. Arthur Bergeron and Lana Valley Estopinal Scholarship Fund so that more families can access our services.
